Honestly, Lenore will wear whatever she wants. It all just depends on her mood. Some days she feels like wearing old, baggy clothes that make her look like a hobo while the next day she will wear a stunning dress that knocks everyone dead. She will wear whatever she wants to. However, since her recent rise to fame, she's tried to dress nicely when she goes out in public so she doesn't look incredibly terrible in any tabloids.
Lenore is a very ambitious young woman who is ready to do anything to get what she wants. She knows how to get people to like her with a few simple charismatic steps that are true to win anyone over. Most people like her thanks to her sweet and kind personality, which isn't always too true since she sometimes uses people for her own gain. She doesn't often realize what she's doing, but she does it often. Ever since landing a role in a hit movie, she's started to be a bit arrogant and self-centered. She used to be interested in other people, but now she expects everyone to be interested in her. She's become a bit stuck-up over the past few months since the film hit theaters. Still, she likes to believe she isn't any of these things.
Along with this, Lenore has always been somewhat different from others with the way she dresses and acts. Sometimes she thought it was because of her choices as a theater kid, but she was just different and stood out in a crowd. Classmates would sometimes call her a hippie due to how she never conformed to the social classes and rules of the school. She also seemed to believe that peace was a perfect answer to problems that arose. Lenore believes in truth and freedom, but also in the beauty of the world. Still, she can be very cynical in her ways by being self-absorbed.
Lenore Bryant was born to Landon and Sarah Johnston in the Barfield Hospital. The young couple had been together for two years and hadn't really been planning on having a child, but once Sarah discovered that she was pregnant, they decided to go with the pregnancy. They weren't exactly ready for a child though, as much as they thought they were. They couple lived in a small, one bedroom apartment in Blackwood Mountain and neither of them had an actual job. Sarah was a waitress at the Mountainside Grille and Landon was a cashier at the Blackwood Drugstore. With their tiny paychecks and tiny apartment, they both knew that they needed to do something before having their child together. Landon got work at a building company and helped build houses, which gave him some extra cash. Sarah simply worked more shifts at the restaurant. A month before Lenore was born, they moved into a two bedroom apartment and started fixing up a nursery for their daughter who was expected very soon.
After Lenore was born, Sarah took off from work to take care of her child. Landon kept working later and later. One night, he came home and Sarah started screaming at him about how he was never home anymore. They started arguing all of the time, and soon enough, Landon simply stopped coming home at night. He stayed at the construction site and slept in his car. Sarah became more stressed out when she got a call from the Grille, telling her that if she didn't come to work the next day, she would be fired. Lenore was barely a month old and Sarah couldn't afford a babysitter. She tried to explain this to her boss, but he wouldn't listen to her. She didn't go back to work the next day and ended up fired.
Soon enough, Sarah moved back in with her parents. It wasn't the most ideal place for her since all they talked about was how they always knew Landon was a terrible guy and would leave her in an instant. After a year, Sarah and Landon were officially divorced, and Sarah changed her surname back to Bryant - along with Lenore's. Sarah got a new job as a secretary, and was soon able to get her own apartment again. The young single mother moved herself and her daughter to this new apartment, hoping all would go well there. As Lenore grew older with each passing year, she began to ask about her father and who he was. All the other little girls at preschool had dads, so why didn't she? Sarah had to explain to Lenore that her father was just away for a while and might drop by one day. The last thing Sarah expected was to go pick Lenore up from preschool and see Landon there, talking to one of the women who worked there. He was back in her life, but only to see his daughter that he hadn't seen since she was a baby.
Soon enough, Lenore started living with her father and her mother, but just not at the same time. Her father had a new job in Barfield and was actually able to take care of himself and the bills. Lenore loved living in the city and seeing all the people everywhere. She imagined herself one day living in a penthouse in Barfield and be able to look around and see everything. With her mother, she often found herself getting bored and tired of the little, cramped apartment. She also had to deal with all of the annoying men her mother dated and brought home. Lenore always hated them, since she saw them as jerks who would always yell at her mother for stupid things. On the other hand, her father always had nice pretty ladies come over who would always play with Lenore and bring her new toys and pretty clothes. She absolutely loved getting to stay with her father.
When Lenore was eleven, she decided she wanted to officially live with her father. She told her mother the news, and her mother almost had a panic attack. Sarah got mad at Landon, blaming him for stealing her daughter from her. The two argued for a while, until Lenore pitched in and said that she still wanted to live with her father. Finally, they decided it would also help Sarah not have to worry about getting Lenore all the way to Barfield Elementary School, since she would be living in Barfield. Lenore began to live with her father during the school year and her mother during the winter. She hated living with her mother, claiming that it was a total bore.
At the age of thirteen, Lenore discovered her passion for acting when her father and his current girlfriend took her to watch a play at Estelle Bouchard Theater Company. She started talking about how she wanted to become a famous actress, and her father always told her that she could do it. Soon enough, Rosalie, her father's girlfriend, took Lenore to the theater company and let her audition for the role of a little girl in one of their upcoming plays. Lenore was able to get the role, and was even told she would get paid. Lenore told her mother all about the acting career, to which Sarah simply scoffed, saying that it was going to go nowhere and she'd grow tired of it soon. Their relationship became very strained at this point, and Lenore even claimed to hate her mother.
When Lenore was fourteen, her father proposed to Rosalie and they got married soon after. When Landon was told by his boss that there was a new, better job opening for him in a few towns over, he took the offer immediately. He told Lenore that she could move with him and Rosalie and they'd be a happy little family in a brand new home. However, Lenore claimed that she couldn't do that. She loved her job at the theater company and she was even getting to play parts in school productions in the drama club. She didn't want to leave all of this behind. Landon told Sarah about everything, and Sarah grudgingly complied to take care of Lenore all year long again and help her continue with her acting career.
Sarah moved from Blackwood Mountain to Lebeaux, deciding that Lenore should switch schools too. Lenore wasn't happy about going to Lebeaux Preparatory School, but she knew that there was no way she could change her mother's mind. Lenore had to quickly become accustomed to the small, cramped apartment in Lebeaux when she was used to a large area with her father. Still, Lenore tried her best to not complain. Plus, her new school wasn't too bad. There were more people there interested in the arts and the drama club was definitely much better than the one back at Barfield High.
After one practice at the theater company, Lenore was told by their director about an audition for a huge Hollywood film and that she wanted Lenore to audition for the role of Isabelle. Lenore told her mother all about the audition, to which her mother said no to multiple times. After a few weeks, Lenore's mother finally agreed and the two went to Hollywood for the audition. After a few callbacks, Lenore managed to get the role of Isabelle, a supporting character and love interest in When the War Started. Lenore was excited for her new role. Soon enough, she was back in Hollywood and in different parts of the United States, filming for the movie. She loved working with the crew and the film set. There she also met Nicholas Burton, the actor for her character's love interest and her soon to be boyfriend. After filming finished, she went back home to Lebeaux and continued her studies. Everyone at school were suddenly even more interested in her and wanted to know all about the movie.
In the summer of 2014, the movie was released and was a huge blockbuster hit. Lenore tried to get a few more roles in Hollywood that summer, but no one seemed to want her. She went back to working for Estelle Bouchard Theater Company. Currently, she still plays a few roles there. She hasn't really had enough time to do much with the drama club at LPS, but sometimes she'll help out backstage by painting and building new sets for their productions. She doesn't do any acting with the club since she's too busy for that. With her huge paycheck, Lenore and her mother got a penthouse in Lebeaux. Lenore is also still trying to find new roles to audition for, but her mother continues telling her that she should wait till she finishes school first.
Sarah Bryant is Lenore's mother. She and her mother used to be very close, but then got into arguments all the time after Lenore decided she liked living with her father more. She also disapproves of all the men her mother dates, claiming that they're all terrible people. Their relationship is still very strained and not the best.
Landon Johnston is Lenore's father. The two are very close even though he ditched her when she was a baby. She lived with him for a few years until he moved out of town. He invited her to move with him, but she turned his offer down.
Rosalie Johnston is Lenore's step-mother. Lenore really likes Rosalie since she was always very nice to her. Plus, she's still very young and knows more about teenage life than either of Lenore's parents.
Nicholas Burton and Lenore were co-stars on When the War Started. His role was more important than hers in the movie, but they still had most scenes together. A month after filming ended, he asked her out. At first, she was going to say no, but she decided to go ahead and date him. They've been dating since January of 2014. They don't see each other too often since he lives in Los Angeles since he's a famous teen actor, while she can only get one role in a movie.
